William Hill, a British betting and gaming provider, is going to compete with Irish rivals (for example Paddy Power) by launching a specialized Irish website.

It spent over a year working at the local product and now is eager to fight for a share of about ˆ1 billion web betting and gaming market.

Tom Kenny, William Hill’s head of international public relations, said that they were really happy to start the new Irish business and they were sure that it would be extremely popular with Irish gamblers. He added that it had taken a year to create, develop and test the site, but all worthy things need time.
